McCain could have stopped the process he railed against from the very beginning.

Then he said he wouldn't vote for the BCRA in its present form then voted for it anyway.


Unless I'm misunderstanding, wasn't his yes vote to proceed with bringing it to a vote...while saying he wasn't going to vote for it in its current state? Though I can't blame people for not believing this word on this.


He voted yes on MTP.

They brought up the BCRA for a vote, that he said he would not vote for in its current form.

He voted yes on it.

He voted no on a 2015 repeal bill and no tonight.
