Topic	So I'm going to open up my computer today

So that's why I suggest trying to use the DVI port instead and see if you have the same problem When I use only the DVI port the computer starts up and looks fine on the TV, but once it gets to the user login/desktop it will only show on the monitor, and if the monitor isn't plugged in the TV just remains black.
