Topic	You get a lantern ring.

I went as a Sinestro Corps member that year, but if I'm going to be honest, I'd probably get a Red ring if they were real and actively looking to choose me. SushiSquid posted... From memory, there only is a single orange one and it basically forces you to its will. So that would suck. They all control you to some extent, other than green. The idea is, the middle of the spectrum is most balanced, but is also the hardest to use. As you approach the edges of the spectrum, the rings have more and more influence over you, but using them becomes almost instinctive. For orange, there HAS been more than one ring, but because its motivation is greed, whenever there's more than one wielder they usually fight each other over it (because no one who gets that power is going to be willing to share it). The usual fate of anyone claimed by an orange ring is to die and become a mindless energy construct under the control of the main wielder. Though it's also been implied that the orange ring makes it so that you're never satisfied with what you have. So you're literally ravenously hungry for the rest of your life, and no amount of food you eat will ever stop it. It probably is the shittiest of all the rings, except possibly indigo (which pretty much turns you into a shiny happy zombie lobotomy). Blighboy posted... plasma_kirby123 posted... Yellow is probably the least controlling other than green, and it can basically be described as the alpha male/asshole ring. Most of the people who get it just go on a power rush because the ability to cause great fear tends to go hand in hand with being an asshole. Red, indigo, and violet are the ones that tend to rewrite your entire personality. Orange tends to exacerbate what's already there and adds a few problems of its own, while yellow and blue are mostly just "fulfill your purpose or your ring stops working" sort of deals.
