religion isn't inherently evil, it needs to be paired with something or someone that actually is evil for it to be so. it was not initially created as a thing to hurt others but to provide answers. borders are selfish but serve a purpose, same with money.

nuclear weapons were created for a singular purpose and that is to wipe out a shitton of human lives and leave survivors suffering for years and years afterwards. anyone who picks anything other than that is either a fucking idiot or an edgelord still trying to get back at his poor parents for asking him to go to church one time around christmas when he was a kid.

Intentions matter infinitely less than actions. Religion is responsible for far more deaths and human suffering than nuclear weapons, so until an all out nuclear annihilation occurs that's not going to change.
