MariaTaylor 07/18/17 10:42:52 PM #110: | actually because of having so many to do individually I decided to go ahead and use a DV calculator for this group. don't know if I'll get into the habit of doing this since I actually do like calculating them by hand. but it feels less worth it when I can't eliminate the bottom tier ones through quick eyeballing. DV Ranges DOG HP: mid (4-6) attack: low (2-4) defense: low (2-4) speed: very high (12-14) DAG HP: low (3-5) attack: high (8-10) defense: mid (4-6) speed: high (9-11) DOUG HP: high (8-10) attack: very low (1-3) defense: top (14-15) speed: mid (5-7) DEG HP: very high (13-14) attack: high (8-9) defense: mid (5-7) speed: high (10-12) IGLET HP: top (14-15) attack: high (7-9) defense: mid (6-8) speed: mid (5-7) for what it's worth, DEG definitley has better Special than Iglet as well. considering I need high attack and speed he seems like the best one of the bunch... and just generally a great specimen all around. I think I got pretty lucky to find this quality of a Diglett in my first batch. by the way... if you don't know how DV works, HP in particular has a very special function. the DV for HP is not actually stored anywhere. it is a calculation of the other DV values, depending on which ones come up as odd numbers. considering that DEG and DAG are similarly statted for example, but DEG has a very high HP DV, this tells us something important. DEG is more likely to have odd values in any given DV category, since those are contributing to his high DV in the HP category. either way, DEG will be joining the team for now while the others all go off to pasture. --- Embodiment of Scarlet Devil http://i.imgur.com/1KnydFa.jpg ...
