Why do they keep saying they have to kill them now that they know their identity? Or phantasm. Whatever it is. Because if you know their identity, then you can formulate a strategy based off their abilities known in life. For example, take a non-canon, theoretical Achilles: When he would be first summoned, nobody would think "hey here's a random servant, let's attack his ankles for no real reason", and they probably wouldn't get anywhere. Now, if he used his Noble Phantasm, that would basically indicate "I'm achilles btw", and scream his weaknesses and abilities for the world to see - Noble Phantasms are a double edged sword, in that regard. --- ...
