We've never been the good guy or the bad guy, we're just the guy.

Reagan was basically Emperor Palpatine, shifting it from a republic to an autocracy with his deregulations, etc. It simply took time for the changes to really destroy things.

Which makes zero sense because taking power from government and giving it to the people is exactly the opposite of how autocracies work.

most destructive state to ever exist in world history

Apparently your country's public education system sucks. In fact, it's so bad that I suspect you went to American schools.

between nukes and climate denial the USA threatens the entire human species

First off, there are a few countries with enough nukes to destroy the world several times over so that's a hollow claim. Equally hollow is the claim that America's "climate change denial" (an ironic charge given that Americans have been the ones stumping hardest for it) threatens the human race

You can't conflate what they can do with what they have done.

yes you can. USA likes to say such and such country could use nukes, but the most likely to use them would be the only one who has a history of using them

Except it doesn't really have a history of using them, considering how many wars have gone by without one being used. It's like claiming that Britain has a history of cannibalism in war time because it was done once during a war.
