I wasn't aware the choice of the people losing due to a hold over from slavery days was data for what you're trying to claim.

...?

You realize we elected a black dude twice, right? And we won like, pretty handily too.

Are you suggesting that more slavery era racists built a time machine and went forward in time to 2016 to implant their racist picks?

No the electoral college is a relic from the past where some states had a substantial portion of their population only count as 3/5 of a person. Thus making a direct vote impossible.

Which literally has nothing to do with the electoral college itself and also would be an argument against anything dating back to that time. "Oh, the first amendment? That's a relic from the past where some states had a substantial portion of their population only count as 3/5 of a person."

Obama didn't lose the popular vote.

Yet the electoral college is still what got him elected because the popular vote counts for nothing. Nor should it count for anything, given that it would give overwhelming power to a handful of larger states to the detriment of other states.

Librul brainwashing

If it wasn't for liberals, the US would still be a British colony, you'd still be riding horses instead of cars or possibly still living in caves and using stone tools.

This lesson in fake history was brought to you by the same guy who claimed that the FBI can't arrest people and tariffs are unconstitutional! First off, if the US had stayed a British colony, that doesn't mean technology wouldn't progress. I'm not sure what level of stupidity was used to form that argument, but it makes no sense even at surface value. Had the US stayed with the UK, it would probably look a lot more like Canada. Thankfully it didn't.

Second, given that liberals are traditional anti-war and that conservatives are for smaller, more representative government, it was likely less a matter of liberals than it was conservatives. Doubly given that they were against taxation and for free enterprise (ie, business), where many of the founders helped build Wall Street.
