Conservatives need to get their shit together, this guy is a terrorist and getting any honor is repulsive, but literally do the same thing and start a civil war here, and you get schools named after you and statues honoring your leaders as a matter of "Southern Pride"

Except for the fact that those civil war leaders were also governors, Mexican-American war heroes, etc, and they represented a majority rather than a fringe movement that wasn't even supported by Puerto Rico itself. Nor are any of the issues involved comparable.

Yeah, that's pretty repulsive, too. Don't know how they can get away w/ honoring literal traitors.
Read a historical timeline a few weeks ago, too, where it went into detail about how the use of the Confederate battle flag was pretty much nonexistent after the war and only started up again widespread during the civil rights era of the 50's and 60's, to "fight back" against it. It's all pretty sickening.

This dude hates the Dukes.
