If you want to put up solar panels and increase solar energy production that's fucking fantastic. The problem is that he's considering doing so in just about the least efficient and least cost-effective way imaginable. You can spend a metric fuck-ton of money putting solar panels on a useless wall, or you could spend 1/10th of that and put them in a proper solar farm that would produce 10 times more energy.
