There's a pretty significant difference between enslaving another living creature and maintaining control of an object you literally create, that only exists in the way you program it. Trying to create a false equivalency between the two cheapens the struggles of real slaves throughout history as explained before, humans only create the process by which the ai will emerge as a baby learns and grows, so does the ai and the intelligence being on par with humans means ownership of them is slavery btw your failsafe is on their hardware, not their ai --- sigless user is me or am I? ...
