There could be a day when their recruiting/coercing members isn't effective anymore. Even if the ideology doesn't die, it still needs people to sustain it. They're not a factory that magically pumps out terrorists. We already have been fighting them for a long time, and if you think that carpet bombing is the only way to prevent them from spreading to the entire world, you're, as has already been said, fucking delusional.


Also are you aware of how many of them operate (literally) underground? I'm assuming they have some significantly fortified bunkers, so I'm not sure where you get the idea that bombing everything is even a guarantee to wipe them out.
