Because that is how life works. 90% of life is being told "no," experiencing hardship, and enduring failure. Things will never be perfect, but facing adversity (competition for choosing a mate) is necessary for survival. Not so much because you need someone there, but because its good practice to lean how to prioritize your value.

Note, and this goes for all men (even alphas), that success with women is roughly 10 percent. So for every 10 numbers you get, roughly only 2-3 will actually work, and only 1 will open their legs (if you're doing it right).

Here's the thing dude: don't go into it thinking about how horrible life is, or how greatful you'ed be if she'd let you or touch her boobies, you come off as desperate. Talk to the woman without pretense, without the aim to impress, and without a notion that you care about her at all. She'll be all over you. She wants you to care.

Modern western women are designed to think that everything revolves around them. If someone/something does not coincide with that Woman's Studies philosophy, they don't get it, they don't like it, and they have to change it.

Morever, it's after you snag one. That's when the real challenge begins. Most people will lie, cheat, and steal to get their way. But never lose your conviction, always suffer through and accept the heartache, and stick your fuckin' chest out.

Also, this is a really good book on not just how to pick up women, but also on how to maintain a level of coolheadedness with the opposite sex. I highly recommend it.
