That's not the issue I had with that. To suggest that I should be curious about the inner workings of a racist's mind is ridiculous.

So you are saying that like if there was a pocket of 1-5k people who believed black people specifically hate turtles you wouldn't be curious about that?

It's so weird and disconnected from reality it's like flat earthers, it's like "how did somebody go so far as to believe THAT"? Generally I'm fascinated by anybody who believes something demonstrably crazy.

The topic is racist because there was no need to bring up the race in this discussion. If the turtle killer had been white, TC would've just titled the topic "bored teen microwaves baby turtle" or something instead of specifying that she was white. He mentioned her race just to stir people up and hopefully get someone to make racist comments about the killer.
