BotW hasn't even faced the next game to come out yet, let alone the test of decades. BotW is the game of the minute, OoT is the game of the hour, but LttP is the game of ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME! You're not even making a logical case here, other than showing you're biased. BotW has the acclaim to match both already, it's selling the Switch and can potentially become the best selling Zelda of all time. Except I'm making a supremely logical argument but your bias has blinded you. Getting awards TODAY does not mean standing the test of time. BotW could be completely outshone by the very next game. By contrast, LttP has lasted all of this time and, as time went on, we saw how greatly LttP inspired the rest of the franchise. The concept of a master sword, which it introduced, is even in BotW. Also, given that the world's population is increasing, it would be a bad sign if it didn't sell more although, with all of LttP's ports, it's possible that LttP still have more copies sold in the long run. enfam0us posted... I currently believe though with what Nintendo has made here with BotW, they can seriously turn heads, have a true game that both inspires, and raises the competition in the industry yet again. lol...? People are ditching their core games in favor of stuff like Saints Row which come closer to capturing the fun of the GTA series. Granted, that's assuming you meant Rockstar.
