Also, it seems like people get pissed if you stand on the left side of an escalator. I had one guy say "Excuse me. Can I get by?" When I was on the left and there was a guy right next to me on the right so I figured he just needed to get by so I said "Sure." But then I realized what was happening and so I started going up escalators on the left side on purpose and waited for someone else to say something because I was going to tell them to go around, but never got my wish.


Lmao at not knowing anything about escalator etiquette. Standing on the right and walking on the left is the norm everywhere.



To be fair, I didn't know that either. It depends on where you go. In some cities that aren't as crowded, some people don't know the left escalator etiquette either.
