Yeah, it actually does matter, because once you hit syndication your value as a new show declines and networks can live off of licensing fees. This is purely a financial decision, despite what the alt right bitches about I dunno I'm not saying you're wrong (getting to syndication is definitely huge) but it also seems to be a popular show with decent ratings -- it actually improved its standing between last seasons finale and this season's, which is hard to do in 2016-2017 for a TV show I mean, maybe ABC is more discriminating, but NBC held on to stuff like Parks and Rec that did not do this well in ratings ever --- He would make his mark, if not on this tree, then on that wall; if not with teeth and claws, then with penknife and razor. ...
