Yeah I've experienced her (not sure why I "knew" it was a she since I didn't actually see "her"), she jumped on my lap while I was sleeping on my back. I wanted to turn on the light but was too scared (in reality though it was because I actually couldn't move)

I never slept on my back again after that up until a couple months ago, and this happened like 15+ years ago. I've been sleeping on my back lately though because my shoulders have started hurting when I sleep on my side for some reason. It's pretty uncomfortable to lie on my back now due to never doing it for so long

I had this once too when I was sleeping over at my sister's house, It wasn't that scary though because it only showed up as I opened my eyes and it faded away after my eyes were open and I was awake

How often do yall get caught in a dream loop? Waking up, getting out of bed, leaving the room, then waking up again (repeat)>?

I used to have this happen a lot but not lately. Always in the form of a nightmare where I'm alone in my house and the lights are unreliable and/or turned off and I have to try to get them on.

I actually had something similar happen night before last. In my dream, I was dreaming about the voices of kids screaming at me, and then I "woke up" and went and told my brother about it, and then I actually woke up.

I used to have nightmares all the time of hearing my mom stomp down the hall and then yell at me while I'm lying in bed (sometimes I'd say something back at her and then she'd rush over and hit me, which is weird because she never hit me IRL)
