people see different stuff. it probably happens more than is told. no one really wants to speak of or acknowledge such things. thankfully ive never suffered sleep paralysis. there have been times when waking up feels like a bit of a trudge. as if there is a something to knock down or break through before i can. i just push past it though. im the sort that if i am talking in my sleep i will hear myself and focus to stop sounding all mush mouth; the focus breaks the sleep. it doesnt happen often though. as little as three times all together.

the weirdest thing that has happened to me while waking was; i rolled over and fell off the bed, woke up mid fall; all i saw was floor fast approaching. was weird. seemed almost like bullet time, the fall was not a great one, but somehow i still had the time to have a kind of queue of ideas while it happened. ok awake now, what, this is weird, is that the floor, uh; i must be falling, brace for impact.

ah, i remember on another occasion my dad came in >'we're going to the hospital' -'k, be careful see you when you get back.' wasnt actually awake though. a bit later he really comes in >' wake up get ready, your mom had a spill, her foot isnt right.' i asked him about it, he said the first time never happened. >'why would i say something like that as calmly as you describe?' i have a bit of guilt about that. i dont know what i could have done as an act heeding that warning. burns the noodle to think about such things too much methinks.

i'd like to think that i have a considerably potent imagination. people have said to me that the degree of my imagination can be vexing. 'get that looked at.' has even been suggested to me on more than a few occasions. although i am grateful that i seem to have the gift of some manner of limiter or boundary present as i sleep. though my dreams can be vivid, far and distant from the line, they are very rarely negative or scary. nightmares are decidedly infrequent. on more than a single instance there has even been censoring in my dreams. curses beeped and bare bits blurred. which is very strange considering my exposure to everything and how it is in these times.
