Portable games have generally been third class games on this site behind console games and then PC games. Having future portable games on what can also be used as a console should boost their strength. Most importantly, this is a game changer for Pokemon where all of the main games have been on portable systems up to this point. A mainline Pokemon game on an actual console is the push it needs to finally win GotY on this site.
