Beth and Jerry Smith from Rick and Morty are pretty bad. They're decent towards their kids, but Summer knows that her mother wanted to abort her and has regretted that decision at least once, Jerry is a pathetic shell of a man who had the hide to ask his teenage, still-in-school daughter for money and Beth is an alcoholic.

Clay and Bloberta Puppington from Moral Orel. One's a physically and verbally abusive alcoholic with nothing but seething resentment and a selfish desire for attention in his bones, and the other is a husk of a person who ends up atrophying as a person by the end of the series, who started her husband on the path towards alcoholism in a desperate attempt to get married as a young adult. Both of them are flawed, and they've hurt each other and spurred each other's transformations, but that doesn't change the fact that they're both bad people and - in essence - bad parents. Look at Shapey and Block, and look at what both of them eventually put Orel through - Clay moreso, but Bloberta still had a hell of a hand in it all.
