Like, light speed isn't just the fastest speed we've recorded. Photons basically don't have mass so basically there's nothing stopping them from going as fast as possible in a vacuum. But they still won't move faster than 186,000 MPH. It's like a universal constant. If you wanted to move something that has mass at that speed or higher, you would need infinite energy.
