I need to start dialysis in a few weeks and get a kidney transplant, but it's been over six months and I'm still not even on the list. Every transplant center I contact says that my insurance is giving them a hard time over getting the testing to get onto the list. They say when I finally get on the list, even though I don't drink, do drugs and am relatively young for having chronic kidney disease which should give me priority, it will probably take at least 4 years to get a kidney. I really don't know if I can deal with this for another four years. --- "Wait a minute...If I ever get a hold of you, I will thank you for showing me the futility of human endeavor." ...
