considering it's mostly used as a dude that is so convincingly a lady, nah.
even if you were to refer to it for trans people, it's honestly a compliment to say that you pass so well that you're indistinguishable from a very attractive woman.

I really have to disagree with this entirely due to framing.

The term "trap" is framed as such to suggest that a straight man was "trapped" into being attracted to a "man". When used on a fictional character like Bridget, sure whatever that works. When used on a trans woman it's pretty insulting for two reasons.

1. Trans women are women, not men.
2. The idea that trans women are wearing women's clothing just to screw with straight men is pretty bullshit. A significant portion of trans women are lesbians not even interested in men.

If you're thinking "but that's not what I mean when I say trap"--I'm sure you had great intentions but if you don't want to be misinterpreted, maybe you should use a term with less ambiguity?

Before this post I was indifferent and just upset at
Clowns being offended. Now I can safely safe that no one should ever use any term that isn't trap again.
