Synopsis: You have been personally chosen by Asmodeus, Supreme Master of the Nine Hells, to compete in a grand tournament he is holding to find a champion among mortals. During this tournament, you will work with other competitors to survive, but ultimately knowing that only one will succeed. Your combat prowess will be tested against the greatest of enemies, but in the end, one mortal will stand triumphant over the rest. Will it be you?
Character Creation: - 5th edition D&D - 8th Level characters - Point buy of 25 for stats - Everyone's Charisma stat starts at 18 - Character must be adult, but not old for their race; no monstrous races - Only mundane weapons/armor
There will be some moderate RPing in this session. It will not be a main focus, but players are encouraged to have some defining personality characteristics that make their character unique.

Some clarification on the stats here.
0 point buy in 5e has all stats at 8. 0 point buy here has all stats at 8 with CHA at 18. Typically in 5e, point buy can't go above 15, but here the limit will be 20. The limit will also be 20 for ability score increases. Racial bonuses will be fine to boost something above 20 though.
19 CHA will still cost 4 points, and 20 would cost 5. ---
