It wasn't as good as the original 3 (any of them), for me, but I watched it twice all the way through and enjoyed it both times. Episode 1 and 2 where more of a 1 time shot for me, but I watched em in the theater and didn't leave midway through, I would have for Rogue one for sure. Part of it is just the absolute lack of interesting characters, hardly any humor (Which was even in episode 3 a bit, but in all the rest to some degree), little to no light heartedness, and barely any "coolness" factor with jedi's multi-lightsaber wielding robots etc. I even thought Episode 7 was lacking a bit in some of that (but still watched it twice with no problem), but it was nothing like Rogue One which, to be honest, could have easily been a sci fi movie on it's own that didn't involve star wars or it's characters, and wouldn't have changed much (other then nobody having ANY reason to watch it then. Some people like it and that is great, but to me it was the worst yet, and I doubt I will ever give it another shot. --- No duckies, just drowning. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
