I am saying women need to think about how they dress in certain areas, some places have a crap load of creeps and those looking to be sexist.

Maybe there will still be cat calls even dressing conservatively or professionally but I'd wager there will be less of it.

Not even going to touch on the fact you seem to be calling most men creeps but I feel that would probably trigger someone who is obviously biased.

Also never said that any woman is "asking for it", what I did say was women who dress the same way a hooker does should not be surprised or shocked she will be harassed by certain men in certain areas.

I feel that concept is pretty naive considering how often women get creeped on even in the most objectively conservative outfits. As I mentioned, my fiancee gets these comments on her way to work while wearing jeans, or on the subway while mind her own business. I wish I could say they were all nice attempts to start conversation, instead of "smile sweetheart" or "Damn those are some fine pins".

What gets me is this argument always seem to put all the emphasis on what the woman did and how she could have avoided that situation or how she was stupid and didn't think it through better. I think the emphasis should be on people who behave creepily, not people who dress liberally.

I understand the cold logic. E.g. if you live in a bad neighbourhood be sure to lock up your house. But if someone breaks in and steals a bunch of your stuff or does something worse it's not your fault because you didn't have a stong enough bolt lock. We don't give people a hard time in that scenario for not being safe enough. We just say "some people are fucking dicks".

Not all women are as stupid, damaged, or crazy as you seem to believe, and for that small percent that are they will have to find their own solution to their problems, not some dumb trype. Enabling that sort of behavior only adds to the problem.
