man there's so many updates this time around.
i just got Mercedes yesterday in two yellows. now i'm gonna get a ton of her? i've got 3/4 of these units. missing just Lightning of them. hell, i've already got like, 5 Seven. at this pace they're gonna make me get her TMR, which seems to basically be an ability Ribbon. but i'm pretty cool with this since those two seem to have crazy bonuses given to them in enhancements. Seven gets a natural 50% element resistance, the elemental break puts -ga spells above Ultima (70% debuff for Fire/Ice/Thunder), and AOE MP theft. she's not that expensive overall, but the attack is the most expensive thing.

Mercedes just uh... kinda goes nuts on the damage and becomes a crazy buffer. 100% bonus for equipping an axe, War Cry is a 100% attack buff + 100% attack debuff, and axe of the sea gods goes to 350% + 75% water res debuff. the last one is the stupid expensive one in Japan but the other two are very easy to afford.

medius doesn't impress me that much. should he?
Kuja needs to get to 6* before he's really viable, although even at 5* he may be useful if we get a trial specifically focused on lightning since he can offer 100% res there. but still prob not worth it if you got Melfina i assume.

...i don't understand Fina's (Curaga is Curaja! oh yeah at 6* you get Curaja too) beyond "please equip a bow on her" and Rain's just look straightforward. Leadership drops 10MP per upgrade but that's it so might as well save that. Ground Lava goes from 180% to 300% damage, that makes him viable for combat. Blazing Heart though is cheap, gives him 50% fire res, and 5% MP recovery. that's the most obvious thing to do.
