Anyhow, I plugged in the thing, and got hooked on Metroid. Had to buy my own NES. It wasn't my first video game (I'd played an Atari 2600 and started on Pong when I was 23 in 1975), but it started a long line of game playing on consoles and PC. At 65, I will stop when you pry that controller from my cold dead hands! Same here but I never had to take away my kid's consoles or games.
