Not to mention all the airbag inflator and door latch recalls. One of the biggest problems is that Ford has a regional recall rollout system. So Ford Corporate will send out a cover-their-ass advance recall notice to every eligible Ford owner, with little fine print on the back of the letter saying "your local Ford dealer may not have parts yet". So we get people coming in for what they perceive as a huge safety issue, and we have to turn them away because we don't even have the parts yet.
