| Topic | David ranks his top 100 games of all time, with write-ups |
| davidponte 03/13/17 11:33:16 PM #157: | So, I just finished the final 3 write-ups, and all 3 of them ended up turning into mini-stories about the games and my experiences with them, rather than me really talking about their mechanics and gameplay. When I set out to write about the games on this list, I wanted to inject some of my personal experiences into the write-ups, and while some had more of it than others, I think the final 3 write-ups illustrate what I was trying to get at with that. They're all pretty long (around 700 words each), but I think they'll be some great reads and I'm excited to post them on Wednesday. I know it can be tough, or boring, for everyone to read about something they don't really have much interest in, especially when it comes to games, but if you're only going to read through 3 write-ups on the list, those are the 3 that I would recommend. Some of the earlier write-ups felt forced, but I think my natural writing style was able to come out in the top 10, and especially the top 3.
