Let's say that I have a female friend and she's really nice to me. We're platonic buddies. Best friends even. And we hang out a lot and I find her fun.
Then let's say I find out that she's been abusive to her boyfriend. She beats him, emotionally manipulates him, yells insults at him, and then pulls the sobbing act to make him feel guilty for being abused. I witness this with my own eyes.
Do I, then, deny what I saw because I know her to be a nice person, so therefore, I must be interpreting things wrong...
...or do I break all ties with her and do my best to get her boyfriend to a place of safety where he doesn't have to endure her abuse ever again?
