I also may have played the first PSX game when I was too young to really remember it, but if I did it would have been for an insignificant amount of time, and I've never owned one until getting Ground Zeroes for free. When I was young I mostly played whatever my parents bought me or what my friends were playing, and it wasn't until MGS 3 came out that I really even knew the series was a thing. I've never been interested in playing games out of order, except in cases where it was impossible to play others in a series, so I never got around to it, and at this point there are so many of them that it would be overwhelming to start now.
