A lot of people that got their car "pimped out" ended up in a worst position than before like the car would be unusable; they would had to tear down the stuff, and make the car unsellable. Also a lot of it was fake as well because the cars wouldn't even function right. It was purely all cosmetic. Accurate, in a bored moment or two (especially over Covid) I saw a few exposes on this.
