I'm not saying China is flawless. I know it's still bad for LGBT people overall. I do think morally speaking they are better than Trump's America though. I don't believe they are actively setting out to worsen the lives of 50% of the country, as Trump has admitted to wanting to do to his opponents. I don't think they're trying to get people killed by demonising vaccines. I would take a communist dictatorship over a fascist dictatorship any day if I have to choose a dictatorship. And sadly, there are no democratic world powers right now, except for maybe the EU, but they have a lot of their own issues.

I don't think China, Russia, or America are good countries, but of the three right now, China is the lesser evil. It is sad that I have to say that, but that's how much America has already degraded under Trump.
