| Topic | Hakeem Jeffries is demonstrsting exemplary leadership |
| LightSnake 09/27/25 12:32:21 PM #44: | Enclave posted... Light, I don't give a damn about Klippenstein, I also have never said "No bad tactics only bad targets". That's what this topic is, man. Klippenstein is a sniveling little shit who got his start publishing chemical weapons/genocide denial apologia. 90 percent of his output is tweeting out of context clips or screenshots for "owns" and people on this board keep reposting him uncritically. I'm certainly allowed though to be really fucking tired of hearing from Jefferies. Look at the full context you posted, he's still talking about bipartisanship and he's just saying the shutdown is on the Republicans. Yes he's right but he needs to use way stronger language. In another topic, that'd be a conversation. but it is not this topic, which dishonestly clipped his words to create a narrative. You bring up Nancy Pelosi, I fuckin' wish Jefferies showed the kind of strength she did back in Trumps first term. I may not have liked a lot of her politics but she at least had a hell of a lot of fight in her compared to the current crop of Dem leadership. People say the same shit about Pelosi, regardless of it being justified. Jeffries is leading a caucus that is the minority and all the strength in the world won't change that. That's the reality. You understand why I might be a little frustrated at this, right? It's something that isn't going away regardless of who's in charge on the Dem side and it's a huge problem --- Ring the bells that still can ring/Forget your perfect offering/There is a crack in everything/That's how the light gets in."- RIP, Leonard Cohen ...
