I really don't like how Rachel "wants to show these people how to play Big Brother" - when she's essentially being shut out of any and all major alliances and being largely ignored strategically. It's this cast's way of saying "This ain't your season, it's ours" to her, and it's pretty great tbh. She's showing that she's a fraud since she hasn't found an in. She hasn't been able to influence anybody and, even when on the bottom, a good player can at least get something to stick to improve their position.

Amy and Jimmy were evicted because of their proximity to Rachel, so literally nobody wants to be next in that sequence. That's why Ava is listening to Mickey and Will before Rachel. Ava doesn't want to be on her way out next because that's what happens to Rachel's allies. It's sorta like what Savai'i did to Ozzy in South Pacific - they voted out his cuddle buddies and forced him to win challenges for them. And this was optimal because Redemption Island was in play and the absolute LAST thing Jim Rice wanted was a pissed-off Ozzy going on a tear there.

Rachel is much the same way here. They want her to be delusional enough to think she actually has sway when she does not. And I don't think anyone outright hates her - they just hate the fact that she's there, and they don't want a legend overshadowing what was supposed to be THEIR season. Ergo, anyone who Rachel has a public F2 with has gotta go. So bye, Amy. Bye, Jimmy. Bye anyone else who does that! (Ashley might be next tbh.) There's a reason that even Lauren, who was fangirling the hardest when Rachel showed up, has a very minimal relationship with her.

So Rachel's cockiness is just bizarre to me. She's done literally nothing this season to improve her position. And she's just mad that these people aren't playing the game for HER - it's the old Ciera Eastin "Make a move!" speech without explaining why such a move would benefit somebody else. She thinks these people are idiots for not doing the best move for HER game, when that's a downright stupid thing to say. And the way she comes across is devoid of self-awareness that I thought she had by now.

That said, and this is pretty great, the cast has pretty much agreed that they want Rachel to be Mayor of Ponderosa again. Rachel has said that she'll refuse to go to the jury house - it's either she goes pre-jury or makes F4, with no in between. I'm all on board for this outcome. If they evict her - tequila, vomit, hair extensions, and all - and she quits the jury, I'm looking forward to seeing the fandom meltdown.
