The guy's son-in-law is an Amazon delivery driver, they talk multiple times about spying on people's Amazon shopping carts (the main character works at DHS spying on people in the most over the top ways possible), there's a plug for an Amazon drone delivery service Part of the plot is that the DHS guy has to ~~place an order on Amazon so his son in law can activate a drone to get him an item he needs.
