| Topic | about to impulse buy Final Fantasy 6 - is this a mistake |

It is actually fantastic and has aged extremely well. 4 and 6 are some of the best entries in the franchise. 5 is good too. People dont seem to LOVE it because the story isnt as bombastic, but i think it is good. I love the characters, their chemistry. They feel like they are really good friends as the game goes on. Bartz is one of the best protagonists. He might not have a brooding backstory, but he is fun, a little dorky, friendly, and a good leader. A proto-Zidane. Ex-Death is a fun villain, because he just loves what he does. He is intimidating, but also extremely petty. He actually does the stupid thing where people say why doesnt the villain just ______ and _____ the heroes? And he does. And the game has plenty of twists as well. Major character deaths. Some good sidequests. Some funny mechanics like the Chicken Sword. Super bosses. Not saying that you were hating on 5, I just think it deserves to be mentioned with 4 and 5.
