F4 fatigue maybe?
Released too close to Superman

Deadpool and wolverine made 1.3 b. Spider-man No way home made 1.9b. People still watch Marvel, but I guess they want specific kinds of Marvel.

Expect Doomsday to hit 2B.

Different levels of popularity. This was never going to be on the same level as those movies. Both of those films individually made more than the previous fantastic four films combined (probably same or at least close to even adjusting for inflation).
People were always going to turn out for a Spider Man film, they were always going to turn out for Deadpool. Marvel's problem is that they are still acting like it's the mid 2010's where they can put out literally anything with the Marvel name and it will perform in the upper hundreds of millions. That hasn't been the case for a while, and with the way the industry is right now, it will never be that way again. Marvel is going to keep losing money on these movies until the realize that and start budgeting things accordingly. If Guardians 1 had come out today, we'd likely be seeing the same box office woes.
