Borderline starring Ray Nicholson and Samara Weaving is on Peacock and I gave it a watch.

Felt more towards thriller comedy than horror comedy like I expected, but it still counts.

Overall, it's a showcase for how outstanding Ray Nicholson could be. He plays a crazy person and does a great job in that role. Like, stand out blow away good. Samara Weaving was also outstanding too, but she's always great. Her character is a pop super star, but it's probably one of her more forgettable roles.

Which is crazy because you put Samara Weaving as a pop super star and it feels like it should be a lot better than it is, but the script was really rough, and I felt like the editing was a bit all over the place. It has some really funny parts in it, but it really just kind of falls flat in terms of story. Tons of wasted potential here to be something a lot better and I kind of don't know how they dropped the ball with it. They needed to cook this script for a while longer.

I'd say it's pretty good, but never escapes that territory. Worth watching if you like Samara Weaving or want to see some outstanding acting chops from Ray Nicholson, but not a big recommend.
