I found the original game to be exceedingly easy and simple even for a Kirby game. Pretty much every boss can be safely avoided in the corners.
That's how I felt with Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, to be honest. By the time I learned that I can get the Bomb + Cutter Power Combo in the very first stage (on Pop Star), I felt like I've pretty much within reach of the end credits since just about any enemy and boss went down like it was nothing, not helped either by the fact that some minibosses even have "safe spots" for you to stand in while you blindly unleash your Copy Abilities.

Even the first Kirby's Dream Land kept me on my toes with its bosses.

And there just was simply less content in RTDLWii than the games that came after it.
I could agree with this, but I didn't think the later games' contents were "perfect" either (despite 100%ing them myself).

Kirby: Triple Deluxe's Kirby Fighters was good fun, but it has since been "surpassed" by its standalone eShop games Kirby Fighters Deluxe and (especially) Kirby Fighters 2. And Dedede's Drum Dash was something I wasn't a fan of, especially since I'm not much of a "rhythm" player myself.

Kirby: Planet Robobot's subgames didn't impress me much either; Team Kirby Clash was only fun for a few battles while Kirby 3D Rumble was only "great" until its much superior Kirby's Blowout Blast eShop game released. I also wasn't a fan of how "watered-down" the The Arena modes were, mainly due to fixed boss orders and its meager healing opportunities between matches.

Kirby Star Allies only had the Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! as its appeal in its content for me. The Ultimate Choice was a neat twist to the The Arena mode (and brought back the traditional rest areas), but it was still no traditional The Arena mode(s). Its subgames weren't much to look at either.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land only had the Coliseum for me when it came to content while the rest of the content left a lot to be said; this game might even be my least favorite modern mainline game in the side content department.
