I'm basic and absolutely went for Abigail my first time through.

Haven't played since launch, it's been years and official major patches weren't a thing yet.

She's a gamer girl so yeah, I get it.

You should check it out again, I believe it's a pretty significantly different game based on what I read.

That's weird, I just started playing it too. And so did another friend of mine. On the same day by pure coincidence.

Anyway I'm going for Haley, and it's honestly because I think the character designs are all terrible except for hers. I'm enjoying the game, but I think I'm going to find a mod that redraws those silly portraits....

How far in are you?

Haley is an interesting choice, character-wise. I haven't seen many of her scenes though.

And yeah I downloaded a portrait mod on my second day playing lol and it's helping the experience greatly.

I just used the mainstream anime one but there are a lot out there. The one with a Story of Seasons style is interesting. There's also a GBA Fire Emblem style one lol. Though I'm not sure about their compatibility.
