The comments basically let you send someone a free message, and they might read that and decide to look at your profile and respond, then you talk.

Without the comments (which is all other apps if you dont spend money), literally the only ways they might see your profile are:
1. They are a premium subscriber who has spent money to see who liked them
2. Your profile comes up for them at random when theyre swiping.
For example, the one I met yesterday, her profile says dating her is like:

So I responded to that that I loved that sales pitch, and that I definitely had a dark sense of humor which is another thing her profile says.

She responded to that saying my kitty looks just like hers, and we started talking about our cats. Her profile had an audio prompt where she said she loved random facts about music artists and record companies, so I used that to transition the conversation to music, and we bonded immediately because she likes metal (which is rare around here in my experience).

Im terrible at this, so I feel like if I can get some matches, anyone can.

I probably should've worded my post better... I get what the commenting was for but I could never think of anything to say so it never got any use from me...

Also if you think you're terrible, you haven't seen how bad I am... I'm not exaggerating with the "no matches" thing...
