Topic	I don't get anime fans who like the bitch character.

Tokyo Mew Mew New did that with Mint, they toned her down from "a total bitch who basically hated everyone except Zakuro" in the original TMM to "just kind of a smug bitch who thinks highly of herself and insults Ichigo a lot but has some genuine kindness underneath" in New.
