Thanks for the info, guys. Though I'm still at a loss on how I want him to be portrayed. I usually want respect to source material, but I also was never a fan of his human-like appearance. I thought he looked as silly as Dr. Doom's name sounds. So I don't know what kind of Galactus I want to see.

I think it's really going to come down to personality and presentation. You can do the giant man in the silly hat, but you can't have the series actively mock it and he needs to both be presented, and present himself, as cosmic nobility. An impossibly powerful force of nature that has spanned the life of the universe and seen corners of it that no mortal will ever behold. If they can convey the scope and scale of what Galactus is and what he represents than audiences will be okay with the big purple hat. Marvel has done that really well in the past and really poorly as well, so it'll really come down to the writers.
