Every once in a while he makes a movie he wants to make, and they tend to be surprisingly good. He's actually a much better actor than most people realize. The thing is, if stupid companies were willing to pay me millions of dollars to travel to exotic locales and basically vacation with my friends for a few months, I'd cash those checks too. It's like with Will Smith, where he's actually a pretty good actor. But 9 times out of 10, the studio is just paying him tens of millions per film to be the Fresh Prince, so he's gonna be the Fresh Prince.
