I remember it took me like four or five save files to get past Disc 2 in Final Fantasy IX due to something ridiculous happening each time to make me restart from the beginning. I remember the cherry on top being when I FINALLY made it back to the exact spot where my last save got erased, and I decided to save as soon as I reached it just be extra sure things would be okay and my friend tripped over the controller cable, knocked the Playstation to the floor, and wiped the entire Memory Card. --- Okay, I rolled a 14.
