I think it shows that both Eve and Mark are desperate for a romantic relationship that feels right and makes sense. It is VERY young adult to find that person and rush into it so fast when it feels right, for both to want to placate the other.

I think it is written well honestly, like young people in love. Also makes sense for their profession in that they could face life or death issues at any second. Why waste time you may not have?

Like I said, the speed of the relationship doesn't bother me too much. I'm used to that in shows.

It's just that Eve's become such a nonentity.
