This is the truth. For all the negative posters...do you guys have electric cars or stoves? Probably not.

The excuse for cars i see is: charging infrastructure and range anxiety. It will always be uncomfortable to change the way we have been living and most people will avoid discomfort even if the entire world burns around them.

By stoves, do you mean mains heating?

I have something even better than an electric car: No car. There's a shit ton of people that would 100% take alternate forms of transportation if they 1) existed and 2) were as convenient as driving. Much of America is perfect for trains and trams, it would just take redirecting some of the money used to subsidise car dependency and taking a look at zoning laws. Would also have the benefit of actually being sustainable for cities and reducing traffic for those that still choose or need to drive.
